The ``Self-enrollment in Course/Community'' domain configuration component will set the defaults for who has rights to 
configure the following self-enrollment options in a course:

\item Users allowed to self-enroll
\item Registration status (official courses)
\item Dates self-enrollment available
\item Access dates for self-enrolling users
\iten Self-enrolling users' section
\item Processing of requests
\item Enrollment limit
\end{itemize}

A Domain Coordinator can also choose to override the domain default (on a course-by-course basis) for each of those seven options in a specific course, by setting ``Who configures'' to either Domain Coordinator or Course personnel.
